Overview Angels Fall First
Angels Fall First is an original first-person combined-arms sci-fi wargame. AFF is a team-oriented tactical game focusing on objective-based scenarios and team-oriented gameplay. It features A wide range of weapons, tools, ground vehicles, and spacecraft. Diverse combat options – you can assume the point, clear a building and hunt with a frigate Wolfpack as a line ship Captain, or issue orders from your battleship’s bridge. Fully functional capital ships that can be piloted and have playable interiors. Unique combination spaceship with infantry combat – board ships, space stations, and vessels to capture and destroy them from within. Space interceptors and bombers are used to fight dogs from space stations and capital ships. Gameplay mechanics combine modern elements (customization and loadouts), persistence, and inspiration from classic shooters (frantic firefights). Commander allows you to give orders to your squadmates or teammates. All scenarios are compatible with AI support. They can be played offline or online in the same way, and up to 64 players can participate. If necessary, bots can fill in for players. They were set for a rich science fiction universe.
Another game in space
We’ve been doing it for a while – AFF has been a fantastic universe of fiction, art, and other media since 2005. We started with a Homeworld mod and continued to build on it. The Unreal Tournament 2004 mod was first developed. It was later ported to UT3 in 2007. This resulted in a 3rd-place grand prize in the MakeSomethingUnreal contest in 2009. Angels Fall First is a standalone game. It was created to allow the player to accomplish as much as possible in a large environment while maintaining the fun, focused experience of FPS games. We loved Tie Fighter way back when.
We fell in love with Battlefield a little later. We waited patiently to see the game that would undoubtedly combine the enormous scale and spaceflights with close and personal firefights, thunderous vehicle battles, and close and personal firefights… but it never came. There was always something missing. You couldn’t get out of your spaceship. Is there a spaceflight ground fighting game? We set out to work. AFF exists because it must exist. Only in AFF can you spawn in your crew quarters and fight out of the windows to launch a dropship.
