Overview Kamiwaza Way of the Thief

Only the strong survive on the streets of Mikado. A failed heist could forever change one man’s life. Kamiwaza is set during Japan’s Edo period. It stars Ebizo, an amateur thief who wants to steal from the wealthy and give to those less fortunate. His mentor Ainosuke and he witness their men taking the lives of innocent civilians during his first stint. Ainosuke tells Ebizo, disillusioned by the horrible display of violence, to flee with the only survivor, a single girl. Ebizo still holds on to his morals a decade later.

Living a fulfilling and honest life with Suzuna (the young girl he adopted as his daughter). Suzuna becomes ill, and the illusion of security crumbles. Ebizo must pay a huge financial burden to purchase the medicine she needs. Ebizo feels conflicted and decides to return to Mikado’s underbelly, vowing to only steal for the good of others. Kamiwaza Way to the Thief Pre Installed

It’s a great game. It’s not stealthy but more of an action-packed thief experience in a Japanese town. The port is quite basic, but the game looks good. It’s a bit like the Way of the Samurai series regarding gameplay. Give it a shot. This a great follow-up to AI: The Somnium Files. Although I didn’t think the original game needed a sequel, I was surprised to hear that it was being announced. I am glad it received the attention and love it deserves. The sequel is as good as the original. There’s lots of silly and inappropriate humour in stupid places. It also has drama and a story that wraps up nicely at its end. You can even find some surprises if needed.
