You’ll be able to improve your physical strength or magic by doing more mentally challenging tasks.

The work you choose, you can make your character any way you like. Skilled management is required to overcome dungeons. You must decide what rations, items, and camping gear you can bring when you leave the city to face the unknown. On the many frontiers of Antoecia, you’ll face monsters, bad weather and food spoilage. You have two choices: will you push onward or retreat to explore the next day when things get tough? You’ll need to make these decisions as you travel across the continent where no one has gone before.

A new twist on the traditional job-and/ability, turn-based battle. This unique system relies heavily upon working with your allies. You can CHANGE the conditions of your foes, create a CHAIN and inflict heavy damage. My favourite thing about this game was that, despite their world being messed up, most of the characters you read about looked out for one another before succumbing to the blight.

It could have been for their best friend, who they just wanted to make them smile or ease their pain, a loved one they were trying to save, a family member they care about, or simply standing in the flower fields of their priestesses. This game was full of positive vibes, despite all the negative aspects. This is something you don’t often see. Some of their stories made my heart break or stuck with me. The game’s theme was hope, not suffering.
